About

Sana has had a knack for writing since a young age. Being a journalist didn’t seem like a far-fetched idea
when April O’Neil from the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles became one of her idols.
Along with studying politics and history at the University of Toronto, she has a degree in journalism from Humber College. She admires the journalistic work of Alan Johnston, Mishal Hussain and Robert Fisk. She has been travelling the world since she was a baby thanks to her father, who worked in an airline. Keeping abreast of international politics is one her fortes. She is a casual employee at CBC Television. She freelances for AUX.tv and various publications in Toronto. Her hobbies include photography and painting.
